Navka termina las formas por pérdida de consistencia: la materia se adelgaza hasta incorporarse al fondo sin ninguna línea. La superficie funciona con dos regímenes que conviven sin estorbarse: zonas donde la pintura se extiende tan fina que se ve la trama del lienzo, y zonas de empaste, arrastre y huella de herramienta. Queda a la vista velocidades muy distintas dentro de un mismo cuadro, y nada se ha tapado después para que el conjunto resulte más presentable. el color se organiza en grandes extensiones de saturación pareja y cada campo instala su propio clima.

En Montmartre presento cuatro pinturas de grandes campos de color: Ameba, Canto al ego, Cumbre etérea y Devenir.

Navka allows forms to dissolve as they lose substance: the material thins out until it merges with the background, leaving no visible outline. The surface operates through two coexisting modes that do not interfere with one another: areas where the paint is spread so thinly that the canvas weave remains visible, and areas characterized by impasto, dragging, and visible tool marks. Distinct speeds of execution are revealed within a single painting, with no subsequent covering up to make the composition appear more polished. Color is organized into expansive fields of uniform saturation, with each field establishing its own unique atmosphere.

For Montmartre, I am presenting four large-scale color-field paintings: Ameba, Canto al ego, Cumbre etérea, and Devenir.
